 ABOUT THE TOWN OF PROVADIA
The town of Provadia is situated in the valley of the Provadiiska River, in the southern corner of the gorge of same name. The town is located at 30 m above sea level and has population of approximately 15 000 residents. Provadia is at a distance of 435 km northeast of the city of Sofia, 55 km southeast of the town of Shoumen, 47 km west of Varna and 17 km southwest of Devin.
