ABOUT TRUHCHEVI HOUSE
The “Truhchevi house” hotel complex is located in the beautiful village of Valchevtsi, in the region of the Elena Balkan. Here, the enterprising mountaineers – the Tuhchevi family – decided to renovate the house of their grand father, which was built in 1980. They created one of the most attractive places in the Elena Balkan. The whole complex was built so that you will feel really rested.
The village has preserved its traditional style. The spot before the house was once a sacred place, where local people did the Christian rituals.
Beautiful nature, fresh air saturated with herb and flower smells offer wonderful opportunities for country and ecological tourism.
The architecture and the interior of the house combine tradition with style and comfort.

ACCOMMODATION
The “Truhchevi house” hotel complex has a capacity to accommodate 61 people and offers excellent conditions for your guests. It disposes of:
- 8 apartments, which dispose of a bedroom and an extending sofa
- 1 apartment, which consists of 2 rooms with 2 and 3 beds, and a shared WC
- 5 bedrooms (there can be placed an extended sofa if necessary)
- 4 double rooms with single beds
- 2 triple rooms with single beds

THE TAVERN
You will spend a real gastronomy pleasure in the tavern of the complex, which is located on the first floor. The meals are prepared with love and mastery by the hostess of the house. That is why the good food of the Tuhchevi family is unique.
Here you can taste the well-known traditional specialties of the Elena Balkan, such as elenski roasted leg and fillet “Elena”. You can also try the home-made plum brandy, which is prepared by the Ivan Tuhchev specially for hid guests.
You will enjoy the taste of the roasted lamb or pork, calf’s foot in tripe, stewed rabbit and many others. The only thing you have to do for that is a preliminary request. If you wish, you can also roast a lamb on the barbecue in the garden.
The tavern’s capacity is 60 seats during the winter and 80 seats – during the summer.

To feel the traditional Bulgarian spirit and culture the householders Truhchevi organize excursions to the town of
Elena and to the monasteries:
Kapinovski,

Kilifarevski .
The nearness of the forest and the
Iovkovtzi dam offers wonderful opportunities for hunting and fishing. For your leisure time Truhchevi family organize horse riding and mushroom gathering activities, as well as picnic in the nature.
Other guests attractions are rabbit and quail shooting and carriage ride.
