ABOUT THE HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR
DAY ONE
8.00 am – arrival at the horse race in the village of Balkanets.
8.00 – 9.00 am – acquaintance with safety measure rules during the tour, instruction, getting to know the assigned to your horse.
9.00 am – horseback riding along an old Roman road, named after Emperor Trayan. During the tour the participants will have the opportunity to observe the ruins of a roadside settlement, once inhabited by the first settlers of the Balkan first called cottagers and later on – Balkan people. The tour continues through century old beech-tree woods, succulent glades, dotted with fragrant wild flowers and herbs. Lunch-picnic.
16.00 pm – arrival in the alpine resort village of “Beklemeto”. Leisure time. Dinner and night stay at a hotel.
DAY TWO
8.00 am – breakfast.
9.00 am – departure. The tour continues through the highly bio-magnetic zone of the century-old woods of the Derimagare place. The detachment of General Kartsov spent the cold winter days before the fateful battle with the Ottoman hordes here in 1977.
At approximately 11.00 o’clock the group is supposed to arrive in the area of the “Chuchul” hut. In the alpine dairy the tourists will be offered the local specialty – “Katak” – well strained yogurt, flavored with salt and garlic.
12.30 pm – lunch-picnic.
14.30 pm – horseback riding back to the horse race in the village of Balkanets. Arrival at 18.00 pm.
